The river gauge was installed in August 2018 and is located about 1.2 km far from the river mouth, just upstream of the bridge called “Ponte Garibaldi”, and very close to a hydrometer of the National Civil Protection.

The instrument was installed at the wall that delimits the river and the gauge is properly protected by means of a stainless-steel case to prevent knocks.

Below is an example of measurement related to the event of 22-23 January 2023 to which the photo of Ponte Garibaldi refers. The peak flow error is about 20 m³/s.
